· Function as a technical expert for the Cognos program systems, including installations, configuration, patching, upgrading, and performance tuning for Cognos Analytics application/web servers and IBM InfoSphere/DataStage servers in a DoD environment.
· Lead effort to migrate and/or recreate existing Extract, transform, and load (ETL) scripts from Cognos to IBM InfoSphere/DataStage. Validation and testing.
· Application security vulnerability mitigation and STIG management for Cognos and IBM software.
· Ensure that all application deliverables and systems comply with applicable DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) or Security Requirements Guides.
· Assist with customer requirements for Cognos Data Modules, Reports and Dashboards.
· Assist with IBM Cognos Security and Administration functions.
· Identifying and reporting system risks.
· Technologies Used:
o Cognos Analytics 11
o IBM InfoSphere, DataStage, QualityStage
o Windows Server 2019 & 2022
o Microsoft IIS 10
o Oracle 19 databases
o SQL scripting
Qualifications:
· 5 years’ experience using IBM InfoSphere DataStage and Cognos Analytis.
· Must be certified at IAT Level II (e.g., Security , or other certification satisfying DoD 8140 certification requirements).
· Strong knowledge of SQL scripting and data relationships.
· Must have a TS clearance.
· Must have experience with applying STIGs.
· Experience creating, reviewing, and revising security documentation and artifacts.
· Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows technologies, including Active Directory, server cert management, and IIS.
· Experience installing, configuring, and maintaining IBM Cognos and InfoServer.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $125,986.00 - $133,330.00 per year
